Eric Braegger

Eric Braegger grew up in the small community of Liberty, Utah and was exposed to farm work as a boy. His father was a Firefighter and a hard worker that instilled in Eric the passion of hard work mixed with a commitment of service to others. Eric, his wife and children have made West Point their home since 1998.

Eric retired from law enforcement after severing twenty years.  He has served in many capacities. Some of these include Patrol Sergeant, Traffic Sergeant, Training Coordinator, Records Supervisor, SWAT Assistant Team Leader, Emergency Preparedness Council, Emergency Communications Coordinator, Intermediate – Emergency Medical Technician, SWAT Medic, Motor Squad, as well as several other assignments. Eric has even served his country as an Intelligence Specialist in the United States Naval Reserve.

Eric was one of the original employees that helped establish the current Draper City Police Department. Prior to Draper, he worked for the State of Utah as a Trooper in the Utah Highway Patrol and as an Investigator for the Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division. He has gained considerable knowledge in his many roles.  Eric also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management in 2002 from the University of Phoenix.
